BIO
Khaki was born and raised in Nashville TN and went on to earn a BFA in Photography at Savannah College of Art & Design... after interning with Joyce Tenneson and Art on Paper magazine in New York City, she landed a job Magnum Photos where she scanned negatives by day and shot with her Yashica T4 and Holga by night. Her work is inspired by her own life, music, youth subcultures, mortality and those to be considered on the fringe of society. Her influences are William Eggleston, Martin Parr, Larry Clark, David Lynch, Harmony Korine and Diane Arbus.
